David Afseth - President, Chief Executive Officer and Director

Mr. Afseth has over 40 years of experience in oil and gas drilling, completion and construction. From 1989 to 2007, Mr. Afseth has held numerous senior management and executive positions within Canadian Intermediate, US International Independent and Worldwide Major Integrated upstream E&P companies.

In his capacity as Drilling Manager for Poco Petroleums Ltd. ("Poco"), he managed all of Poco's Drilling & Completions operations with an annual budget of $150 million, while overseeing up to 25 supervisors on approximately 300 well sites per year. In 1999 Burlington Resources Canada ("Burlington") acquired Poco, Mr. Afseth continued with the Company as VP Drilling, Completions and Construction where he managed Burlington's drilling programs and was instrumental in several acquisitions, including Canadian Hunter. During a 2-year period, from 2005 to 2006, Burlington's operations department was successful in drilling and completing 750 wells and in excess of one million meters per year. During this timeframe, Mr. Afseth was responsible and accountable for a yearly capital program in excess of $1.2 billion per year while supervising 100 employees in all facets of Operations. In 2006, Burlington was acquired by ConocoPhillips Canada where Mr. Afseth continued his role as General Manager of Drilling, Completions and Construction. In addition to the most recent experience, from 1970 to 1989, Mr. Afseth managed various drilling programs with Shell Canada, Canada Northwest Energy and Columbia Oil and Gas.

Over the past three decades, Mr. Afseth has been accredited for successfully implementing new technologies and project execution that have spanned; Underbalanced, Horizontal and Coiled Tubing Drilling in arenas ranging from; Critical Sour Gas to Arctic environments. Operations projects have consistently been managed where the key deliverable was execution, on time and on budget, which gave his department recognition of being the operator of choice in the farm-in arena.

 
Dr. Weldon Beauchamp - Vice President, Exploration

Mr. Weldon has over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He worked for Sun International for 10 years, as a production geologist and an exploration geologist in the U.S., North Sea/Europe, Africa, South America, and the Middle East. Additionally, he worked for ARCO as a senior geophysicist in the Middle East, Africa, and South America, most recently as the New Venture Manager for TransAtlantic Petroleum in Morocco, Turkey and Romania. Mr. Weldon received a B.A. degree in geology from New England College, a M.S. degree in Geology from Oklahoma State University, and a Ph.D. in Geophysics from Cornell University. With a strong background in structural geology, remote sensing and geophysics, he is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, certified by the State of Texas Board of Professional Geoscientists, Society of Exploration Geophysicists, American Geophysical Union, and Geological Society of America. He is an adjunct faculty member of the University of Texas at Dallas.

 
Trevor Tjostheim - Vice President, Operations

Mr. Tjostheim has over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He worked for Petro-Canada for 9 years in various roles, the most recent specializing in design and program completion, workover and intervention operations in Syria. He has also held management roles for Daylight Energy and Codeco Energy Group providing project management and technical expertise for completion and workover projects in Canada, the USA and Papua New Guinea. Mr. Tjostheim received a Diploma in Petroleum Engineering from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta.

 
Danny Lee -- Chief Financial Officer

Danny Lee is a Chartered Accountant with over 10 years of experience in the resource sector. Most recently, Mr. Lee served as CFO of Transeuro Energy Corp. which has operations in Papua New Guinea, Ukraine, Armenia and Canada. His experience includes public company regulatory compliance, systems conversions, treasury management, human resources and financial database management. He holds a B.Comm from the University of British Columbia and articled with Deloitte & Touche in Vancouver, Canada.

 
Jenni Lean - In-Country Manager, Papua New Guinea

Ms. Lean has over 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and was most recently the CEO of Rift Oil, PLC from 2004 to 2009, a publically listed company where she was instrumental in the discovery of two wildcat gas discoveries in western Papua New Guinea. She has also worked in senior roles in Indo-Pacific Energy and Austral Pacific Energy and received both a B.Sc. degree and an MBA from the Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.

 
Patrycja Kujawa -- Manager, Commercialization and Business Development, Poland

Ms. Kujawa, a Natural Resource Economist, has been actively conducting economic business development and market research. She has worked with the Governments of Canada and Alberta, Leduc-Nisku Economic Development Authority, institutions of higher learning and international oilfield service companies developing expansion plans in the European market. Her recent projects involved assessing European export markets for Canadian producers, developing business opportunities for oil and gas service firms and researching commercialization options for domestic natural gas producers in Poland. She has an M. Sc. from the University of Alberta and a B. Honours from the University of Saskatchewan.

 
David Cohen - Director

Mr. Cohen has over 25 years experience in executive, senior operating, project development and commercial positions with major global resource and construction companies in the mining, petroleum and construction sectors. He was the Co-Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Gold Wheaton Gold Corp from July 2008 until March 2011 when Gold Wheaton was acquired by Franco-Nevada for $1 billion and prior to that, from August 2002 to October 2007, he was Co-Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Northern Orion Resources Inc. which was subsequently acquired by Yamana for $1.5 Billion. He is a co-founder and Chairman of Eastern Platinum Ltd, one of the larger global platinum producers and a director of a number of other public and private companies.

 
Paul Larkin -- Director

Mr. Larkin brings in excess of 34 years of experience in corporate finance and capital markets to the Company. Mr. Larkin is currently President of New Dawn Holdings Ltd., an independent consulting firm providing administration and financial advisory services to a number of private and public companies. He is a founding Director and member of the audit committee of US Geothermal Inc., President, Director and CEO of Tyner Resources Ltd (TSX.V: TIP) Director and Chief Financial Officer of Kenai Resources Ltd. (TSX.V: KAI) and a Director and member of the audit committee of Condor Resources Ltd.

 
Richard Green -- Director

Mr. Green graduated from Kansas State University in geology in 1973 and began his career with Shell Oil Company. He was a geologist with DeGolyer and MacNaughton from 1978-80 and from 1980 to 1986 worked for several independent oil companies prior to co-founding his own exploration and production firm. Richard was the Vice President- Geology for Netherland, Sewell Associates from 1994 to 1996 prior to co-founding LaRoche Petroleum Consultants where he served as Senior Vice President and Founding Partner until 2006. Mr Green currently is the President and CEO of Saxon Oil Company in Dallas. Mr. Green has extensive worldwide experience in geology, log anaylsis and petroleum engineering. He is a member of numerous professional societies and is an AAPG Certified Petroleum Geologist and Registered Geoscientist -Kansas and Texas.

 
Robert Gayton - Director

Dr. Gayton graduated from the University of British Columbia ("UBC") in 1962 with a Bachelor of Commerce and in 1964 earned the Chartered Accountant (C.A.) designation while at Peat Marwick Mitchell. Dr. Gayton joined the Faculty of Business Administration at UBC in 1965 beginning 10 years in the academic world,including time at the University of California, Berkeley, earning a Ph.D. in Business. Dr. Gayton rejoined Peat Marwick Mitchell in 1974 and became a partner in 1976, providing audit and consulting services to private and public company clients for 11 years. He has directed the accounting and financial matters of public companies in the resource and non-resource fields since 1987. He was Vice President of Finance with Western Silver Corporation from 1995 to 2004 and was a director of Western Silver Corporation (2004-2006), Bema Gold Corporation (2003-2007), Northern Orion Resources Inc. (2004-2007), and Doublestar Resources (2000 - 2007) each of which were "taken over". Dr. Gayton is currently a director of Nevsun Resources Ltd., Amerigo Resources Limited, Palo Duro Energy Inc., B2Gold Corp., Quaterra Resources Inc., Western Copper Corp., Silvercorp Metals Inc. and Eastern Platinum Limited.
